Roosky Bridge

Engineering works at Roosky Bridge. The swivel bridge is dismantled and replaced with an automatic lifting bridge. The original five-arch bridge was designed by Thomas Rhodes and built in 1845 by the Commissioners for the Improvement of the Navigation of the River Shannon.
